About PaperGenerator
A small, focused tool for making the printable paper you need, at the size you need.
PaperGenerator.app makes printable paper: graph paper, lined paper, dot grid paper and isometric paper. You choose the paper size (US Letter or A4), the grid size, margins, colour and a few options, check the live preview, and download a PDF or print directly.
How it works
Everything happens in your browser. The page calculates the lines from your settings and writes the PDF on your device, so nothing you choose is sent to a server and there is no account. The PDF is vector artwork with real lines at the exact sizes you set. Our automated tests measure generated PDFs (page size, line spacing and margins) on every build.
How do I print at the exact size?
Print the PDF at Actual size / 100% and not “Fit to page”. Then a 1/4 in grid measures 1/4 in and a 5 mm grid measures 5 mm. See the printing section on each page for details.
